Seal Lite 3D scanner is here!
Not exactly 3D Printing but it’s the closest sub-category. After backing an Indiegogo project back in August, my Seal Lite finally arrived!
My first impression is that this thing is pretty freaking cool. I tested it out after skimming the tutorial (because that’s the true test of interface ) and received halfway decent results. I put maybe 20-25 minutes of use on it this evening, and I’m excited to give it a more proper dive over the weekend.
From watching some general 3D scanner tips/tricks/use videos in the past, I understand that they often have trouble with dark and reflective objects. I figured it would be fitting for my first scan to be a CNC-rough ebony bridge I had laying around. Check the results; I’m satisfied!
