I picked up a set of these chisels a couple years ago at an estate sale. They were in a very sorry state but had clearly been used and loved. I gave them a good cleaning and sharpened just the smallest one, which took a very nice edge. I'm debating sharpening the rest in order to sell them along with my Narex chisels (which I haven't loved) and replacing them all with a couple Lie Nielsen chisels only in the sizes I really use. Does anyone have a STL for a routing template that will sit square on a les paul body? I need to cut a P90 hole into a middle position, and it would be nice to use the router, rather than chiseling the edges...

A while back I saw a Canna Guitars video on Instagram and thought his use of the “wave” scarf joint between his neck and headstock was an interesting use of CNC. But it got me thinking about other options, and this idea percolated in my brain: Cut a regular scarf joint, but then using a CNC cut a tenon into the neck, and a mortise/dado into the headstock. Good morning group! I just joined The Looth Group today. I'm wondering what folks are currently using to sharpen chisels, plane blades, violin maker's knives. Is there a jig you would suggest? What stones, or are you using something better, easier? I know sharpening is a whole world unto itself but I'm looking to up my game. Currently using Japanese water stones and an inexpensive one wheel guide. I'd like to do better. Thanks! Spidey
