Kamouraska Classical 1979
This is a Kamouraska classical guitar, model 111, made in Canada in 1979. Internet information says it was made in La Patrie, Quebec, and later the line became La Patrie guitars. It looks like someone has been into this one before as the dovetail fit was poor, the gluing is very sloppy, and there are some rough chisel marks on the face of the heel. Bridge plate fix
This Lys (made in Canada) is one of my personal guitars. I noticed the string ends are dissappearing into the bridge plate. I thought about buying the SM Bridge Saver when they were having a discount sale, but it's been out of stock. The tool set costs more than I paid for the guitar, but I figure I could use it in the future for other repairs. USA parts
Im trying my best to keep all of my parts to be made in the USA. With that, i have been having a difficult time finding potentiometers. Cts are made in Taiwan, alpha ate made in korea, bourns are in canada or Mexico. I found that missing link audio has American made parts but not pots.
