F5 Modeling attempt.

This is a repost from the main feed so it is in the correct forum. The recent F5 CAD modeling video inspired me to take a stab at it. I use Fusion 360 and have already completed a full A5 model that I’m using to prepare a lot of parts for my CNC. The F5 top seems intimidating. I focused on modeling the scroll alone for now. Headstock Repair alignment LoothPrint

A while back, I remember seeing a headstock repair jig that had been #d printed in this forum. AS I dont have a printer or room for one, would anyone be willing to print me one of these jigs and I can pay you for your time and materials to do so? I would love to try out printing my own tools/Jigs, but I just dont have the time or free change to put repairs on the back burner to set up and learn a printer

Hey Dave, as you have assembled this previously, was there a particular brand or size squeeze clamp that needs to be used, and any other things to grab from the store other than the machine screws?

3D Printed Neck Shims?

I have searched the forums and was not able to find any discussion about 3D printing neck shims. This made me wonder if with the proper density of infill, may be a viable option. Or is this just taboo? appreciate hearing others thoughts on this

One thing you might try is changing the orientation to have it on the side. You might print it as a block of 5 so it self supports and then split after. I bet @member might…
