Hi, I just glued the bridge on the dreadnought I'm building and generated some Chladni patterns. I have the monopole at 188 Hz, long dipole at 335 Hz and cross dipole at 378 Hz. I would expect the cross dipole to come at a lower frequency than the long dipole, but they seem to be reversed. Does anyone know why this happens? Pictures attached. Hey everyone, look at this. I built a system to measure the pickups but not only the resistance, it also measures the peak of resonance of the frequencies and the volume that you get in those frequencies. I made it with a bobin, a pickup and some testers. It is really cool because you get more specific results as how the pickup will sound and it’s performance.

Hi Gang, I was finishing up a new guitar and discovered a rattle that I think is the truss rod. Strange that it did show up until now. I always rap on the neck to make sure the truss rod does not rattle before I begin finishing.
