Pretty standard dovetail joint with the pocket 1/8th inch further north. I angled the bit through the 13th fret slot (12 fret guitar) and managed to get the neck off without any complications. I don’t know how earlier or later Larson made instruments compare to this one.

Hey all, I’ve got a Prewar Martin on my workbench (1932/33 0-18) and this thing has unfortunately been through the guitar center wringer. I’ve had to reset a fretboard that was glued down with Gorilla glue and as well, rejoint the neck and underside of the fretboard. I had to pull some frets on a neck I built to straighten it out 😣 given that the neck is bound, cleaning up the slots with the little StewMac fret saw with the red handle was a serious chore I’d like to avoid doing ever again. Hallo, I have an old archtop (plywood) that needed a refret. There is no trussrod. I talked to the owner, he knows that my work will maybe/eventually more expensive than the value of the guitar.
