Broken Scroll on Mandolin Head

The previously glued scroll on a mandolin headstock has broken off again. I've seen Frank Ford's fix, where he routs and glues in a spline, but I am wondering if there is a simpler fix for a less expensive instrument. Thanks.

This works if you can glue it so it holds in place. Carefully drill a hole from treble side of the scroll, into the other side. Then epoxy a carbon fiber dowel in. Make the dowel slightly shorter…

F5 Modeling attempt.

This is a repost from the main feed so it is in the correct forum. The recent F5 CAD modeling video inspired me to take a stab at it. I use Fusion 360 and have already completed a full A5 model that I’m using to prepare a lot of parts for my CNC. The F5 top seems intimidating. I focused on modeling the scroll alone for now. Scrolling

Not sure if this is just using the site with an iPhone and Safari or it happens all the time. When I scroll down, select something to see then go back, the browser takes me all the way back to the top of the page. Even when I went to page two of the looths, then click someone and go back it takes me to the top of page 1. This isn’t the end of the world of course but trying to see members in page 5 or 6 to get bounced back to 1 could…
