Hello all! I've moved across country after having a reasonable success loothing back in the USA, but upon arriving in my current location in Europe, i've had to diversify my skill set and take what i could to stay in the country. Anyway, its been 2 years since then and i'm slowly kicking up dust with repairs again, that i'm primarily supplementing with fix and flip guitars. But, i've hardly had any customers since arriving, outsi…
Need advice on my first repair job
I would really appreciate some advice on this repair that I need to do. I've built a number of (classical) guitars so far, but this is my first repair job. I have already set the expectations with the customer that I can probably fix it structurally but the repair will be visible. The guitar is modestly priced and of no historical significance so it seems like an ideal project to take on as a first one. The guitar suffered a blow on the…
What touring tech topics would interest you looths?
Hello all, new member here. I've been working as a touring tech for 20 years and just noticed this section of the forum was empty, so I figured I'd give it a kick. If so, drop a comment here and I'll see if I can address it or post any relevant photos\content. I'm leaving Wednesday for a month in Europe fol…

Shipping to Europe
I might be sending a guitar to Germany. I have no idea how I would go about shipping it. Is there an obvious choice for a carrier? DHL or something? It's a $2k guitar and I've tried to talk the guy out of buying it, I'm scared shipping might be horrendous.
