Side dot guides.
Here is a super basic thing I just modeled and 3d printed. Small drill guides to place a 2mm hole directly centered in the side of a fretboard. I made a few sizes for different fretboard thicknesses. Seems simple but its a huge time saver.
F5 Modeling attempt.
This is a repost from the main feed so it is in the correct forum. The recent F5 CAD modeling video inspired me to take a stab at it. I use Fusion 360 and have already completed a full A5 model that I’m using to prepare a lot of parts for my CNC. The F5 top seems intimidating. I focused on modeling the scroll alone for now. 1931 Maurer style 489 neck joint
Pretty standard dovetail joint with the pocket 1/8th inch further north. I angled the bit through the 13th fret slot (12 fret guitar) and managed to get the neck off without any complications. I don’t know how earlier or later Larson made instruments compare to this one.
