Sadowsky bass help needed please 🙏

Sadowsky use unique control plate screws which are much smaller than common plate screws. I believe the ones they use are: #3 × 3/8" Phillips Pan(domed) Head Black Oxide csk self tapping Sheet Metal Screw Type AB thread. Being in the UK, these are really hard to find, pretty much don’t exist here, so can anyone please help me or point me in the direction of a supplier? I’ve contacted Sadowsky direct with no response and also many of my main…

Wood-Body Resonator Guitar Construction – Materials & Suppliers?

Hi Everyone, I believe this may be my first post here, so just a quick introduction — I’m Andrew in Milwaukee, WI. I’ve been building a few years. My luthier eyes were opened first by Charles Fox in Portland which led me to the Gallop School. I recently retired from a tech career and I am now based in Milwaukee, WI focusing on acoustic builds. I’m currently exploring wood-body resonator guitars, and I’d love to learn more from t…

Brazilian Rosewood Supplier

Greetings, I'm doing some research on suppliers for Brazilian Rosewood. I see there is more available than I imagined but pricing is all over the board. I came across a group named HanoverBrazil Marketing and Trade. Looks like they import product from Brazil legally apparently from stumps which are CITES certified. Anyone have expirience with them? Or, any recomendations for a reputable vendor for Brazilian Rosewood "000" or larger…

Wood Supplier

Greetings, I was wondering if anyone has expierence with good a supplier for red spruce, preferably old growth, that they would point me to. This would be for acoustic tops/sound boards. From the reading I've done, it seems that the "Adirondack" variety might be the prized piece to get. Haven't decided if torrified is what I'm looking for. I'm also going to need to get brace wood of the same species. Any and all suggestions are…

Decal suppliers

Any recommendations for custom decal suppliers? I thought I had seen a discussion here at some point about this, but I can’t seem to find it if it actually does exist. I used to have a guy I ordered decals from but I haven’t been able to get up with him even though his website is still open. I was thinking some of the collective brain trust here may be able to help me out with this.
