Hi Everyone, I've got this knock off Les Paul in the shop right now and the wiring is a rats nest as you can see in the picture. Does anyone know which of the pictures from the guitar wiring bible what would apply to this guitar? Friends - I have an unexpected problem with my 1989 P Bass-Plus. I suspect that the Series-Parallel switch is grounding out (ie, short circuiting) when the 3-position pickup selector is in the P pickup position (disengaging the J pickup and all 3 pickups). Hi Gang, Has anyone switched out the plastic, 8 pin box output 18 volt active/battery switch output jack on a P Bass special for a standard TRS output jack or some other? I had a customer that wanted a blower switch installed on his James Tyler HSS style Strat. Simple enough, except that he wanted the full humbucker to go through the volume pot as well. Any electronic wizards know how this switch would be wired for a simple volume / tone circuit for two single coil pups? I cannot find a good answer using the internet search so far. A diagram for dummies would be amazing.
