About:
I have created an Add-On for blender that at the moment generates fret positions and makes a fretboard according to several parameters. This makes it extremely easy to get started with modeling a Guitar in blender. Installation:
To install Download the attached zip File and move it to an accessible location on your hard drive (DO NOT UNZIP THE FILE) then open blender go to Edit->Preferences->Add-ons. Click "Install" on the top right and with the file browser select the zip file and then click the Install Add-on in the bottom left. You will then need to check the box by the line that says Add Mesh:Guitar Generator" This should appear after the install occurs if not Type Guitar in the search box to find it. Close the preferences window
Usage:
In the Sidebar (also called n-panel) on the right of a 3d view there will be a tab call "Guitar Generator" click that. Now fill out the data fields that appear to what you desire and click the "Generate Guitar" button that is near the top. Thats it!
