Mandolin acoustics academy - Hub Of Acoustics
Hi everyone,
I'm Martino from Hub of Acoustics, a collaborative project created by luthiers for luthiers. Our goal is to explore and teach acoustic principles that are directly relevant to instrument making.
In 2026, we’ll be running four courses in different parts of the world, all focused on giving luthiers practical tools to better understand and control the acoustics of their instruments.
We’re excited to introduce our very first course entirely dedicated to mandolin acoustics and lutherie, developed and taught by our team. I’ll be the lead instructor for this course.
The course will take place on the 2nd and 3rd of June 2026 at Michael Bashkin’s workshop in Fort Collins, CO.
The program combines theory and hands-on sessions, with a strong focus on methods you can immediately apply in your daily work. To keep things interactive and high-quality, the number of participants is limited.
If you're interested, you can find more information here: https://hubofacoustics.com/en/#Colorado_Academy
You can register through the contact form on the website, or get in touch to receive the detailed program.
If you think this might be relevant for other mandolin builders, feel free to share it!
Happy to answer any questions.
Looking forward to meeting some of you in 2026 🙂
Martino & the Hub of Acoustics Team
