Humidity stability, moisture meters
It's that time of the year when I start to get all paranoid on the humidity levels of my shop. It happens at this time as the heating seems to send my hygrometers out of whack and it's quite difficult to keep things stable.
So far i've been relying on keeping a 45% constant humidity in an automated system I built on Domoticz (similar to Home Assistant), which control a humidifier and dehumidifier.
I'm not that confident i got this nailed down properly, so i got myself a cheap wood moisture meter to verify - and this is giving me wildly varying readings - which made me even more paranoid.
I'm wondering if anybody has any experience with good moisture meters - i see products like the Wagner Orion ones which seem really good but very expensive (at least in relation to the one i got!) Is one of these tools worth investing in?
(I've got a small shop and a growing wood stash which I keep in the shop itself)
