Martin 'Simple' Dovetail Neck Reset issues
Hi all,
I've just pulled the neck on a 2007 OM-1GT for a Neck Reset and it has Martins 'Simple Dovetail' with the CNC'd recessed fingerboard extension and heel.
Does anyone have any experience of working with these recessed joints? I was expecting it to be a Mortise/Tenon, and having never seen one 'in the flesh' before, I'm scratching my head.......a lot, whilst scowling at my sandpaper 🤔
