Music Man Stingray Preamp Faulty?
Hi group, a customer left here his Sting ray 20th anniversary for some preamp problems. At first we tought it was a battery problem, then the customer told me he cleaned the pots with regular WD40 😭.
When passive the bass plays regular with no noise, but when I plug the battery it starts cratching and there's no sounds coming out of the pickup. Any idea where the problem could be? Not really into preamps and stuff like that.
