PRS Special 22 SH Wiring Help???
Hey everyone,
A customer wants me to rewire his PRS Special 22 SH in an unusual way. Basically, this guitar features a 5 way super switch where the positions are:
1 - Bridge Humbucker
2 - Bridge Humbucker & Narrowfield
3 - Bridge Humbucker & Neck Humbucker
4 - Neck Humbucker & Narrowfield
5 - Neck Humbucker
He wants me to wire this with a push/push pot that activate just the middle pickup, bypassing the 5 way switch completely. He's been on the PRS Forums and apparently someone there had this done which prompted my customer to want the same thing. The pictures I've included a the stock wiring, the mod, and then my own wiring diagram with the mod implemented. I was wondering if someone could take a look at this and see if this would actually work of if I've overlooked something? I'd prefer to not get in a situation where I'm guessing at the customers expense.
Thank you all and Happy Holidays!
