PRS Truss Rod Nut Size
Hey everyone,
I had a quick question on PRS truss rod nut sizes. It appears that the SE line and the USA line differ in their truss rod sizes but I can't seem to nail down exactly what's going on with them. I've had a couple of PRS guitars in the shop recently and I'm fairly sure I tried to adjust the truss rod on the SE with my 7mm, 8mm, and 5/16" wrenches and none of them fit. Fortunately the customer had the truss rod wrench that was provided to them by PRS in their cases. Am I needing a 9/32" wrench?
Here are a few measurements that may be useful.
7mm: 0.27559"
9/32": 0.28125"
5/16" (Gibson): 0.3125"
8mm: 0.31496"
Thanks!
-David
