String Alignment Over Pole Pieces for Vintage Strat Bridge String Spacing
Do folks recommend notching saddles to get better alignment over pole pieces for vintage strat bridges with wider string spacing? Or is string/pole alignment just a compromise one makes with vintage strat bridge string spacing?
I just set up a new bridge on an MJT strat body and the high E in particular is pretty poorly aligned. Wondering what others think about this and if there are mitigations.
