Resin Printing

Currently considering getting a Phrozen Sonic Mighty for doing some small parts manufacture and was wondering if any of y'all looths are doing any resin printing currently. I'm looking for any tips, tricks, or advice before jumping in. Are there better printers i should be considering? Is there anything I should just full on avoid? How have y'alls resin printing experiences been?

J. Roadman has a resin printer, not sure which one but it makes some really defined parts. Kinda stinky, sticky and messy. He would be able to give you some insight...

Surface Inspection Light 2 - Electric boogaloo

This is a rehash of the amazing Loothprint that Mike (@member@member@member) shared to the group (Surface Inspection Light – The Looth Group). I don't have a 3D printer so had to take a low(er) tech approach. The pics should be self explanatory. I have linked to a DXF and CRV (Vectric VCarve) file in case it helps. My shining star of the bunch is the Ender 3 V2 when it comes to print quality and speed, but the Pro has been an absolute tank since I properly set up…

What are the current 3D printer recommendations? If there is a sliding scale on the "affordability ladder", that would be helpful. Thanks

Print problem, 2nd layer

Got my new printer a few weeks ago, and I have been loving life in 3D. I have made a bunch of cauls and tools in preparation for my next builds. On all the prints the first layers were a little fuzzy, so I did some research and adjusted the z offset. Got my first layers in the pocket. But that caused some horrible problems. Now I can’t even finish a print. First layer is fine. Second layer is hairy and fuzzy. Seems like the nozzle is dr…

Update: glad I didn’t dive into trying the complicated fixes first. All this time I was working with the same slice file I made. Adjusting the z offset. Getting terrible results. Today I found some ti…
