Has anyone had any experience using a color dye in TruOil? And if so, how did it work for you? I have been dying an electric bass body with Rit black dye, but once the TruOil started going on, the color started moving around leaving lighter spots. Any thoughts or advice?

Hey! So I've got a customer who has dropped off with me one of the nastier headstock breaks I've seen in recent memory. I just opened a repair shop and the first repair was to remove a broken 1/8" hex wrench ball end from the truss rod nut of a Turner RB4 Renaissance Bass. I read of all sorts of theories on how to extract/remove. None of them had recorded actual attempts of the theories. There's probably others on here but I haven't found them.
