Anybody ever put a clear coat over top of this type of pen. Customer has a Fender Edge signature strat that he had signed by The Edge. So yeah, no pressure on me for this job. I'm thinking I'll try on a scrap guitar with Mohawk Ultra Flo Ultra Bond, which is my go-to for most cosmetic jobs that require painting.

Hey wiring gurus, A customer wants a harness setup that I've never tackled before and I just wanted to ask if y'all knew if this was possible before I start making a diagram. I recently did a rebuild on a Strat where I went with 2 pickups and a 3 way switch. Goal mess to have an independent volume for each pickup and a master tone. I also added a coil split for the bridge. I went pickups direct to volume pots, pots to the blade switch, and out of the switch to the tone, then to the jack. I wasn't asked to fix this, but a guitar that came across my bench with an issue I've never dealt with before. Curious what the best way to approach to get this back in place? My educated guess is, apply heat of some sort and use a soft jaw plier to yank it free? Then sand/clean the exterior before re-inserting and using some sort of wood block for the final pushes into the channel?
