Hello everyone! I'm having quite a lot of issues with a Jackson Warrior I'm refinishing in 2K Spraymax. After a week, it is still not completely cured and it dents whenever I do the "fingernail-test". This is already the second time this happened. My process is: Sanded the body completely to bare wood, up to 320 grit. Filled with Z-Poxy, let cure for 24h. Sanded back to 400 grit Sprayed 1K primer, let dry for ~2 hours Sprayed 2x 1k color coats…

It’s a Taylor 114e. There is a dent that I think might steam out, but would that make the finish around the dent white-ish? How would I proceed after steaming it out? I’m still learning and would like suggestions if anyone has any. It’s a satin or almost matte looking finish, btw.

Hi Gang, I hope someone can help me fix my f**kup. This is a new build. I burned the top trying to steam out a dent preparing for finishing. At least the dent is gone. I started sanding, but it wasn't going away. I looked on the inside and I see a little discoloration, so it goes all the way through. It is just north of the tail block. Is a "decorative Inlay" my only solution? I will await suggestions while I reevaluate my life choice…

I have dented the finish in the soundboard of one of my current builds while trying to clean up glue squeeze out after clamping on the bridge. I used a long piece of binding and I guess I held it at a bad angle and there you go. Hi yall. I have this gibson that got into a fight with a drum cymbal. What would be the best way to tackle this wound. It has dented the wood. But no cracks.

I have a new client with 100+ shredder type guitars. He gave me a couple of the easier ones to work on. The first is an ESP which fretted out with bends up above the 12th fret.
