Howdy, folks! I'm playing around with an old Harmony Stella, and when I couldnt quite get the neck off with heat (still a newb here), I just sawed it off. Underneath was a delightful green colored dovetail. Is that pressure treated wood or over the decades mold just got into the wood that deep?

61 year old Stella Harmony with brass frets. Fret board is poplar. It needs refretting and I want to try doing it myself given the cost of the guitar was $70 bucks, hiring a pro will cost way more. Any recommendations on Fret wire? I can't find Fret wire that is an exact match. Current frets are 1 mm wide, a hair over 1 mm high and the tang looks to be 2.5 mm deep. Has anyone regretted one of these guitars?

Pretty standard dovetail. End of the pocket is right under 15th fret as expected. This one was already loose when I received it. A little wiggling and it came right apart.

Hi gang! I have a 1968 Harmony Sovereign H1260 I'm almost done repairing/ restoring. The headstock had a nasty break and an even worse repair (nails, screws, and bondo were involved). For esthetic and structural support I put an ebony headstock veneer on. Does anyone know how to get or make a replacement graphic for the headstock?

I've got a 1970s Harmony Stella parlor guitar and the top seems to be buckling. There is (at least one) loose brace. I assume that there's something going on with the neck block, and that just re-gluing the brace isn't going to fix this. I have no experience removing necks or doing neck resets. So I've ended up with a 1961 Harmony H54 for free. The neck has about .022" of relief without strings on it. The fretboard was taken off long ago. I got it like that, it was just stuck on with double sided tape. I have no clue why it was taken off other than maybe someone wanted to fix the excessive relief and changed their mind. Hi Gang, I have a 1966 Harmony Archtop in need of a refret and fingerboard leveling. I have not done a refret on a cantilevered neck before. Are there any tips or tricks for supporting the fb extension while fretting?
